Fasciating book
Looks dry as dust, but interviews with artists go through pithy discussions of value-economic and moral-of a work of art: its relationship to culture, the collector, the viewer, the artist who made it. Sounds sophomoric, but these interviews are filled with complex, challenging ideas stated in straightforward language..
